The company in Vlora that deals with metal processing has 25 employees, 20 are from Albania, 4 from India, and one from Pakistan.
They have been here for two years and feel at home. They are paid between 700-1000 euros per month for the work they do, and the employer also provides them with accommodation and meals.
"I came from New Delhi. I worked as a carpenter there. I chose Albania because the work is well paid, and we have fewer obligations. I like everything here, but in India, I have my family, two children, so I haven't decided how long I will stay in Albania."
