Digital merchandising technology specialist Paxport is marking the 30th anniversary of its founding in 1994.
The firm is an aggregator flight content and passenger management, post-booking airline ancillary merchandising and digital payments solutions developer.
To celebrate its significant milestone, Paxport has launched a series of activities and special events to acknowledge the contributions of its travel industry partners and look back at how the travel technology landscape has evolved.
The firm said its journey “continues at pace”, with increased research and development spending and strong growth across all of its business segments.
Simon Taylor, head of commercial at Paxport, said: “The travel industry has developed at remarkable speed over the last thirty years, and I’m proud that Paxport have not only adapted, but challenged the status quo to embrace innovation and more efficient ways of working.
“We place our customers at the heart of everything we do – from creating new revenue streams through our expertise in ancillary merchandising, to connecting the travel industry with must-have airline content and shopping solutions, Paxport are uniquely positioned to be a true enabler for travel businesses.
“But the real driving force behind our growth story are our people, whose travel expertise allows Paxport to remain at the heart of the travel ecosystem.”
Paxport said from its inception it made its mission to “remove logistical headaches from all types of travel operations, allowing both airlines and travel resellers to get to market quickly, drive efficiency and generate new revenue streams”.
Since being founded in 1994, Paxport has built a platform that provides access to thousands of airline fares and ancillary services, including a complete distribution solution for travel resellers, an “end-to-end” passenger management platform, and a complete digital payment solution.
