1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) has partnered with Sabre to launch 1000Access, a cutting-edge travel booking solution for travel agents.

1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) has partnered with Sabre to launch 1000Access, a cutting-edge travel booking solution for travel agents.

According to 1000MTG, the new travel booking platform aims to provide travel advisors with an easier, streamlined booking experience for their clients.

1000MTG Co-founder and CEO Ben Ross said in a statement: “1000Access represents a paradigm shift in booking travel, blending cutting-edge technology with personalized support to revolutionize the travel advisory booking experience.”

“Customer-centricity and collaboration are part of Sabre’s DNA. We are proud to partner with 1000MTG to power its 1000Access application. As an early adopter of Sabre Red Launchpad, 1000MTG provided critical insights that helped us go from concept to working code in mere months,” he said.

The new booking platform is integrated with Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) and uses Sabre Red Launchpad technology to operate.

Sabre Travel Solutions Vice President of Product Management, Distribution Experience, Kathy Morgan said: “As one of our early adopters, we look forward to incorporating additional feedback from 1000Access users to refine our offering before it’s generally available later this year.”

1000MTG travel advisors can shop, book and ticket traditional air content, NDC offers, and low-cost carrier XML options. The company has plans to add hotel and ground transportation content later in the year.

In addition, travel advisors using the platform can carry out 24/7 automated ticketing, view varying commission rates, contact a Global Fares Desk Manager for support, and streamline reporting for Virtuoso members.

The new platform will be open to 1000MTG travel advisors as part of their membership, Virtuoso members, and mid-sized agencies in North America with plans to expand.

1000Access will launch in the UK and Australia in late 2024.

Earlier this year, 1000MTG held its Global Conference in Los Cabos, Mexico with its worldwide network of travel advisors and partners in attendance.
