Emmett, ID (CBS2) — The Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:17 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Emmett Road and Hollow Road.
A blue 2015 Toyota Scion TC, driven by a 31-year-old woman from Emmett, Idaho, was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a dark blue 2022 RAM 3500. The RAM was driven by a 50-year-old man from Caldwell, Idaho, and had two passengers: a 50-year-old woman from Caldwell and a 21-year-old woman from Caldwell.
The driver of the Toyota, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. One of the passengers in the RAM was airlifted to a local hospital, while the driver and other passenger were transported by ground ambulance. All three occupants of the RAM were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
